Stock and Modified Outboard racing offers an individual and family-oriented path into competition. The existing CBFNC guidance describes racing from age 9 and up, typical speeds from roughly 40 to 90 mph, mandatory safety equipment, controlled class specifications, volunteer opportunities and club-run learn-to-race programs.
